2- and 4-door BroncosFord

Outdoor enthusiasts will be whooping and cheering with excitment at the news that Ford is bringing back its most rugged and favorite SUV: the Bronco.

After almost a quarter century break, the beloved 4X4 will be offered in two versions from 2021 onwards: the Bronco SUV and the Bronco Sport crossover. The Bronco comes in both 2- and 4-door options with removable roof and doors.

Will the two new beasts be able to live up to their predecessor's fame?

Reviving a legend

It can be a tricky deal bringing back a legendary vehicle. Mediocre modernizations of the original versions is typically a concern, however, it looks like Ford's 2021 Broncos will not fit in that list of lukewarm revivals.

Whichever version of the Bronco you go for, the lines are clean and the car's are bursting with funky details such as the round headlights that incorporate a straight daytime light through their center, completely removable doors, and modular components that can easily be swapped around with other Ford accessories and upgrades.

For the first time in the off-road world, 35-inch tires are options with the Broncos. These will undoubtedly make a huge difference when going over trails and their obstacles.

Moreover, each version of the Bronco offers a new Terrain Management System that offers a larger scope of terrain options than any other offroader. These include rock-crawling, high-speed Baja, and an option for sand and slippery trails.

The pi├Ęce de resistance, however, is the advanced 4X4 option.

There's a two-speed electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case kitted out in the base Bronco, and advanced versions have an electromechanical system that can automatically shift between 2H and 4H on the go.

For the offroading lovers among you, there's impressive low-speed cruise control, a turn-assist function, and a single-pedal drive option that will most likely have your mouth watering.

Looking a little more inwardly, the engine options include a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, or a 2.7-liter four-cylinder one.

The Bronco family will be available in showrooms from next Spring onwards, and the 2-door option starting at $29,995, and Ford has yet to share the price of the Sport model. You can already reserve your choice now, for $100!
